PLACEHOLDER — “Rooted” is about the quiet strength of staying put. I painted it in layers, letting each dry before adding the next, the way a life settles.

Inspiration

PLACEHOLDER — I began this piece after a winter walk through bare trees, thinking about everything that holds firm underground while the surface looks still.
